The Summit Gear Knapsack Harness is a padded retrofit harness designed to replace the standard issue harness on knapsack sprayers (e.g. the 16 litre Rega fire fighting backpacks as used by Rural Fire Authorities throughout Australia)
Features:
- Padded back pad
- Padded adjustable shoulder straps
- Wide webbing waistbelt with a large range of adjustment
- Made from abrasion resistant 1000 Denier Cordura as used in all of our fire fighting packs
It connects to the existing attachment points on the knapsack and threads through the handle to achieve a high take off point for the shoulder straps. This holds the knapsack in a more comfortable upright position.
The waistband transfers most of the weight to your waist and hips instead of to your shoulders making for a more comfortable day in the field.
